Pinktober & Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

The chances are that most of us have had some personal connection to Breast Cancer, whether we battled it ourselves, or know a loved one who does. With numbers like 232,340 predicted new cases this year according to the American Cancer Society it's important that we continue to raise awareness and research  toward finding a cure.

Although October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it's easy to get caught in the "Go Pink" campaign, it's equally important that we support these woman year round and not just one month out of the year. That can mean buying something "pink" and helping to donate a portion of the proceeds to a good organization, or simply sending thoughts and strength to the ones who are affected in some way.

 Every gesture matters.

Countries all around the world today are celebrating the beautiful earth we live on in honor of Earth day. By taking part in community activities, planting trees and gardens and simply just enjoying the gorgeous planet we live on. What will you do to help nurture your earth today?
