Girl Scout Birthday, today, commemorates the day in 1912 when Juliette Gordon Low (founder of the Girl Scouts) officially registered the organization's first 18 girl members in Savannah, Georgia.

Today as the Girl Scout organization has grown internationally and to have millions of members and directors. These girls are growing up to be independent, strong and motivated women ready to enter the world better than they were the day before.
